PTMEG/TDI Polyurethane Prepolymer,PTMEG based polyurethane prepolymer is the higher level of Polyether based prepolymer.
PTMEG based polyurethane prepolymer are recommended for applications where parts undergo dynamic stress,etc.This polyurethane resin incurs lower heat build-up.This polyurethane prepolymer also have advantages in high resilience,low temperature performance and resistance to water attack(hydrolysis). Polyethers also have lower viscosity and specific gravity.
PTMEG polyurethane resin can be used to produce rods,rollers,caster wheel,sealing ring,sieve plate and other polyurethane elastomers.
PTMEG based polyurethane prepolymer end product have good abrasion resistance,water resistance,germ proof,excellent mechanical properities,color regualting by adding pigment.
The addition of minor quantities of a hydroxyl-functional polyoxyalkylene monol to a PTMEG-derived isocyanate-terminated prepolymer during prepolymer preparation enables the preparation of glycol extended polyurethane elastomer which exhibit improved physical properties, particularly elongation, tensile strength, and tear strength, without significantly affecting elastomer hardness.
Processing procedure
PTMEG/TDI Polyurethane Prepolymer at 75 ~ 85 ℃ preheating, after vacuum degassing, the melt MOCA good homogeneous mixing, deaeration, pouring, molding, vulcanization molding, stripping, vulcanization.
Storage of PTMEG/TDI Polyurethane Prepolymer
Store in a cool and dry place and use up as soon as possible after opening;
If it cannot be used up at one time, it shall be sealed with nitrogen;
The second opening needs to be used for defoaming, and the original storage period is six months.
