Characteristics of Polyester TDI Polyurethane Prepolymers
These prepolymers offer good mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and elasticity. The properties can be adjusted based on the specific polyester polyol and TDI used in the formulation.
Commonly used in the production of polyurethane foams, coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers. Industries such as automotive, construction, furniture, and footwear benefit from these systems.
These TDI polyester based prepolymers typically require the addition of a curing agent or catalyst for curing and crosslinking. Once cured, they form a network structure with enhanced performance characteristics.
Using of the Polyester TDI Polyurethane Prepolymers
After the Polyester Polyurethane Prepolymer is vacuum degassed at 80-85°C, it is mixed with melted MOCA, degassed, poured, and vulcanized for molding. It is suitable for manual operation and mechanical molding.
Prepolymers should be stored in a dry, low-temperature place and protected from moisture and moisture during use.
The prepolymer after opening should be used up as soon as possible. If it is not used up, it is best to seal it with nitrogen.
The shelf life of unopened prepolymer is 6 months.
If you want to add color paste or other materials, please keep the water content of the additive below 0.1% and consider the compatibility of the additive.
