Client Feedback: Our 1800kg Stone Slab Clamp Improves Safety For Overseas Stone Workshop

Recently, one long-term partner operating a large stone fabrication plant in Europe sent us real-site operation feedback after putting our stone slab clamps into formal use.

The client needed lifting equipment that could handle slabs of varying thickness. Previously, they owned multiple sets of clamps with fixed jaw ranges, which meant frequent tool switching between thin and thick slabs. Our model with adjustable jaw from 5 mm to 72 mm solved this trouble effectively. One single clamp covers nearly all slab thicknesses used in their production line.

They ordered a mix of fully automatic and semi-automatic 1800kg clamps. Automatic units are arranged on the polishing and cutting production lines for continuous material transfer, while semi-automatic clamps are used in warehouse loading and container packing zones.

The on-site team mentioned two obvious improvements. First, slab edge damage rate dropped noticeably thanks to thickened non-marking rubber jaws. Second, the reliable load structure reduces safety concerns during heavy slab hoisting.

Our slab clamp series keeps mechanical design simple without hydraulic or electric components, so clients do not face high maintenance costs. Spare rubber pads and wearing parts can be supplied separately.

We keep optimising lifting tools based on real feedback from global stone operators. Whether you run a processing factory, quarry or stone trading company, our adjustable stone slab clamps can be a cost-effective upgrade to your material handling system. Reach out to us to get test samples.
