Polyether amine, commonly abbreviated as PEA, is a versatile chemical intermediate derived from polyether and amine compounds. It is typically a colorless or pale yellow liquid with low viscosity and low vapor pressure. Structurally, polyether amine consists of a flexible polyether backbone terminated with primary or secondary amine groups, giving it both elasticity and high reactivity. This unique combination allows polyether amine to be widely used in modern chemical, coating, adhesive, and elastomer industries.

Its amine functionality provides excellent detergency and dispersing effects, helping to reduce engine deposits and improve fuel efficiency. In addition, it is increasingly used in wind turbine blades, composites, and adhesives for aerospace and construction applications due to its outstanding fatigue resistance and mechanical stability.
