Polyether polyol for coating is an important organic polymer, mainly used in the preparation of coatings and adhesives. It is prepared by polyaddition reaction of initiator (compound containing active hydrogen group) with ethylene oxide (EO), propylene oxide (PO), butylene oxide (BO), etc. in the presence of catalyst. The main chain of polyether polyol contains ether bond (-R-O-R-), and the end group or side group contains more than 2 hydroxyl groups (-OH).

Polyether polyols for coatings have a variety of uses in coatings and adhesives:
Coatings: Polyether polyols can be used as high-performance epoxy resin prepolymers to prepare high-performance epoxy resin coatings to improve the coating's wear resistance, adhesion, solvent resistance and strength.
Adhesives: In adhesives, polyether polyols can undergo a variety of chemical reactions with other compounds to enhance the adhesive's adhesion and performance.

Properties
Physical and chemical properties of polyether polyols for coatings:
High molecular weight: usually has a higher molecular weight, providing good physical and chemical properties.
- Low viscosity: easy to process and apply.
- High activity: due to the presence of multiple hydroxyl groups, it has high reactivity.
- Hydrophilicity: ether bonds make it hydrophilic to a certain extent, which helps solubility and dispersion.
- Improved hydrolytic stability: When compared to polyester-based coatings, polyether-based polyurethane coatings have improved hydrolytic stability and superior resistance to weak acids and bases.
- Excellent adaptability: the blended polyol for polyether polyols provide significantly more product flexibility, which is useful for coatings that require flexibility.
- Good hardness and strength: Polyester polyols give the product good hardness and strength.
- Long service life: Polyether polyols have a long service life and can preserve the qualities of coatings.

Packing and storage
The polyether polyol coating,packaged and transported in iron drums, IBC drums, or ISO tanks.
Usually ,to Iron drum for packing, net weight 200kg. To tons of barrels packaging, net weight 1000kg.
Clear and firm signs on the packaging with product name, model, batch NO., N.W., production date, shelf life, manufacturer name, etc.
Need to be sealed for storage and suggested to use the container with nitrogen.
Handle with care to prevent collision with sharp objects and leakage.
The shelf life is 6 months under the specified storage conditions.
